Closeup
I’ve spent much of my life trying to understand what it means to be human — through science, history, and the stories we tell about ourselves. With CloseUp, I continue that search — this time not with a camera, but with a microphone. Each conversation is a step further into the complexity of our world, guided by curiosity and empathy. I speak with people who dedicate their lives to understanding — scientists, doctors, journalists, historians, and thinkers who question the obvious and look beneath the surface of events.
These are slow conversations in a fast world — space to pause, to reflect, and to listen deeply. Together we explore how knowledge and experience intertwine, how ideas shape our sense of reality, and how we navigate uncertainty and change. CloseUp is an invitation to think aloud, to connect across disciplines and experiences, and to rediscover the human story at the heart of it all.
